We don't know anything about Charlie Buckets previous life before IDR. We know that he was found, along with his girlfriend Violet Beauregarde and their two children Oompa and Loompa, abandoned in a house, but we don't know how they got there. A glass elevator maybe? That's all in the past because Charlie has now found his golden ticket and is ready to move on with his life in a new home far away from any Wangdoodles or Vermicious Knids that may have been part of his past. Charlie is about 3 years old and has a nice, full, plushy blue coat. He has met the other female dogs in his foster home and couldn't have been happier to have met them if they had been Veruca Salt or Mrs. Bucket themselves! Charlie knows, sit, stay, come, down, and shake and is pretty solid with all these commands. He can also hold an everlasting gobstopper on his nose and flip it in the air, but he only catches it about 75% of the time. He does jump up at people when he is playing out in the yard, but so far that is the only bad habit I have found and he is not real forceful about it. Charlie is a very sweet boy and is seldom seen without his tail wagging. He sleeps quietly in his crate, has good inside manners, is housebroken and seems to be happiest when he is getting belly rubs.
